What we collect, why, and what we do with it.

This policy explains what information GoldVarta collects, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe, we store the email address you provide and the page you subscribed from. That is all we ask for and all we keep.

Technical logs. Like any website, our servers record standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics.

Analytics. Where analytics are enabled, we collect aggregate usage data such as page views and referrers. We do not use it to build individual profiles.

We do not ask for, collect or store financial account details, card numbers, government identifiers, or documents relating to your gold holdings. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us or stored.

How we use it

  • To keep the site secure and available
  • To understand which content is useful and improve it

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your email address with advertisers.

Third parties

We use third-party services to operate the site, including a market data provider for gold rates, hosting infrastructure, and where configured, an email delivery service and analytics provider. These services process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Outbound links to other websites are outside our control and are governed by those sites' own policies.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to operate the site, including a session cookie for the administrative area. We do not set advertising cookies.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
  • Request deletion of your email address by writing to hello@goldvarta.com.
  • Ask what we hold about you by writing to the same address.

Retention

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
